Tavleen kaur

provisional Psychologist

My name is Tavleen, and I am a Provisional Psychologist currently completing my Master of Clinical Psychology.

I have had the privilege of working across a range of settings, including schools, community clinics, hospitals, and private practice, supporting individuals across the lifespan.

Before beginning my journey in Australia, I worked as a fully registered psychologist in India within a hospital-based neuropsychiatry and substance use setting, where I provided assessment, therapeutic intervention, and risk management support to individuals and families. This experience strengthened my understanding of complex mental health presentations and deepened my appreciation for culturally responsive and holistic care.

I have experience supporting clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, adjustment difficulties, and emotional regulation challenges, as well as providing psychoeducation and guidance to families and caregivers. My diverse background allows me to adapt interventions to meet each person’s unique goals and circumstances with sensitivity and compassion.

I work with children, adolescents, and adults, using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based strategies. My practice is grounded in a neuroaffirming, trauma-informed, and strengths-based framework, where each person’s lived experience and neurodiversity are valued and respected.

I am passionate about creating a safe, inclusive, and collaborative space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to work towards meaningful change in their lives.

Abanti Mandal

Clinical Psychologist

My name is Abanti, a Clinical Psychologist.

With a warm, collaborative, and client-centred approach, I strives to provide therapy that honours each person’s individuality and lived experience. I believe that every person’s journey is unique, and I am committed to tailoring therapy to meet the specific needs, values, and circumstances of each individual or couple I work with. My focus is on creating a safe, compassionate, and inclusive therapeutic space where clients feel genuinely heard, respected, and empowered to create meaningful change.

I have experience working with adolescents, adults, and couples across a range of settings including private practice and school environments. My work often supports clients experiencing depression, anxiety, sleep difficulties, trauma, relationship challenges, personality vulnerabilities, and life transitions. When working with couples, I provide a space that fosters understanding, communication, and emotional connection, helping partners navigate conflict, rebuild trust, and strengthen their relationship.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness-based interventions. I also integrate elements from emotion-focused and attachment-based frameworks, particularly in my work with couples and individuals exploring relational patterns.

I am passionate about walking alongside my clients as they develop greater self-awareness, build emotional resilience, and connect with a deeper sense of purpose and wellbeing. I value authenticity, empathy, and collaboration and aim to make therapy a supportive, empowering experience where growth feels both achievable and sustainable.
