Cancellation Policy

At Blossom Psychology Clinic our cancellation policy was developed to best support our clients and clinicians. When you book an appointment at BPC, your clinician reserves this time especially for you and spends a relative amount of time preparing for your session. With the policy in place it gives your clinician the time to allocate the session to another client who is on our cancellation or waiting list.

BPC requires 48 hours notice (to the hour) to avoid a cancellation fee. Our cancellation policy applies for face to face and telehealth sessions.

When does the fee apply?

  • Less than 48 hours notice = 50 % Fee
  • Less than 24 hours notice or Non-attendance = FULL FEE

Our cancellation fee will apply where inadequate notice has been provided for late cancellations, rescheduling or failure to attend/show for your appointment. Cancellation or No show fees are not claimable under Medicare or Health Funds.

We understand that sometimes you may be unable to attend an appointment because of sudden illness or an unexpected personal emergency. Please do your best to notify us in advance and we will gladly find time to reschedule for you. We appreciate your understanding and corporation as it helps us maintain a high quality service at BPC.
