Tavleen Kaur

Psychologist

Mpsych (Clinical), MAPS

My name is Tavleen, and I feel privileged to support individuals across the lifespan and have worked in a variety of settings, including schools, community clinics, hospitals, and private practice. These experiences have shaped my understanding of the many different ways people experience and navigate the world, and I approach each person with curiosity, respect, and care.

Before beginning my journey in Australia, I practiced as a registered psychologist in India within a hospital-based neuropsychiatry and substance use setting. In this role, I supported individuals and families through assessment, therapeutic intervention, and risk management. This experience deepened my understanding of complex and intersecting mental health needs, and strengthened my commitment to providing culturally responsive, holistic, and person-centred care.

I have experience supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, trauma, adjustment experiences, and emotional regulation differences, and I also work closely with families and caregivers through psychoeducation and guidance. I recognise that each person’s path is unique, and I take care to adapt therapy in a way that aligns with your strengths, preferences, and goals.

I work with children, adolescents, and adults, drawing on evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based practices. My work is grounded in a neuroaffirming, trauma-informed, and strengths-based framework, where differences are respected and supported, and where your lived experience is valued as central to the therapeutic process.

I am passionate about creating a safe, inclusive, and collaborative space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported to move towards meaningful and sustainable change, at a pace that feels right for you.

Clinical Psychologist

MPsych (Clinical), MAPS

My name is Abanti, and I offer therapy in a way that is warm, collaborative, and deeply respectful of each person’s unique story. I recognise that every individual’s experiences, identity, and way of being in the world are valid, and I take a neuroaffirming, trauma-informed, and strengths-based approach to support clients in a way that feels safe, empowering, and meaningful to them.

I am committed to creating a space where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted without judgement. Together, we work at your pace to explore what matters to you, honouring your values, preferences, and goals while supporting you to navigate challenges and build on your existing strengths.

I have experience working with adolescents, adults, and couples across private practice and school settings. I support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, sleep difficulties, trauma, relationship challenges, personality vulnerabilities, and life transitions. In my work with couples, I focus on fostering emotional safety, strengthening communication, and supporting partners to better understand one another, repair disconnection, and rebuild trust in ways that feel authentic and sustainable.

My therapeutic approach integrates a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness-based practices. I also draw from emotion-focused and attachment-based frameworks, particularly when supporting relational patterns and connection in both individual and couple work.

I feel privileged to walk alongside my clients as they deepen self-awareness, build emotional resilience, and reconnect with a sense of meaning and wellbeing. I value authenticity, empathy, and collaboration, and I aim to ensure that therapy feels like a supportive and empowering space where growth is both meaningful and sustainable.

Outside of the therapy room, I find balance through simple, grounding rituals, whether that’s enjoying a quiet morning matcha, engaging in strength training, or slowing down through yoga. I also value time to rest and recharge, often unwinding with a good TV series or spending quality time with those closest to me.
