Our Services
At Blossom Psychology Clinic, our aim is to work collaboratively with each individual to achieve best outcome as each individual respond differently to treatment and therapeutic styles depending on their needs, whether it is specific or complex. We are able to provide both short- term and long-term therapy that is tailored to each individual’s own needs.
We offer different modalities of therapy and assessments depending on the individual’s need. At your initial consultation, a thorough assessment will be undertaken to allow the development of a tailored treatment plan. These sessions are usually 50 mins in length. Treatment options will be discussed with each individual during the initial consultation and these will form the basis for subsequent sessions.
You do not need to have a major mental illness to receive and benefit from psychological treatment. At BPC, our treatment services are also aimed at early intervention and prevention which means we can assist with anything from acute stress through to parenting support to adjustment difficulties.
In Person or Telehealth Services
BPC offers telehealth services Australia-wide and internationally, so no matter where you are in Australia or the world, BPC is available to provide treatment. Telehealth services are available to all clients, including self-referred clients, Medicare clients, and clients funded by organisations such as TAC. Telehealth services are a great way to connect with your psychologist without being in the clinic in a face-to-face setting.
These services are offered via our secure online platform for:
- Video Consultations
- Phone Consultations
Face-to-face therapy is available at both our Murrumbeena and Boronia clinic.
We offer a range of therapy approaches and psychological assessments tailored to each individual’s needs. During your initial consultation, we take time to understand your concerns, strengths, and goals in order to collaboratively develop a personalised support plan. Sessions are typically 50 minutes in duration. Treatment options are discussed together during the initial consultation and guide the focus of ongoing sessions.
You do not need to have a diagnosed mental health condition to access and benefit from psychological support. At BPC, our services also support early intervention and prevention, and may assist with a wide range of experiences, including stress, adjustment challenges, parenting support, and emotional or life transitions.

At BPC, assessments are tailored to each individual’s needs, developmental profile, and referral questions. The process is structured, supportive, and paced to ensure comfort, clarity, and meaningful understanding.
Assessment Process
Psychological assessment is typically completed across three key stages. Each stage is adapted to the individual’s needs, communication style, and level of support required.
1. Intake Session
A comprehensive intake session is conducted to understand presenting concerns, developmental history, strengths, challenges, and goals for assessment. This helps guide the assessment plan in a collaborative and person-centred way.
2. Assessment Phase
Standardised psychometric and clinical assessment tools are administered. This may include cognitive, attention, learning, emotional, and neurodevelopmental measures (including ADHD and autism-related assessments), depending on the referral question.
3. Feedback and Reporting Session
A feedback session is provided to explain results in a clear and supportive way, including strengths, differences, patterns, and areas of support need. A detailed written report is also provided, which may include recommendations for school, work, therapy, or other supports where appropriate.
Evidenced-Based Treatment Modalities
Therapeutic Approaches
At BPC, our therapeutic approach is tailored to each individual’s needs, goals, and lived experiences. We draw on current evidence-based and trauma-informed practices, integrating a range of modalities to support emotional wellbeing, neurodevelopmental differences (including autism and ADHD), and complex psychological presentations.
Our work is guided by the principles of:
- Schema Therapy (ST)
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT)
- Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)
- Trauma-Focused Therapy
- EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) Therapy
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
- Mindfulness-Based Therapies
- Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills training
- Interpersonal Therapy
- Psychodynamic Therapy
- Narrative Therapy
- Motivational Interviewing (MI)
- Play Therapy
- Parent–Child Attachment Therapy
Our clinicians work collaboratively to ensure therapy is paced appropriately, with attention to emotional safety, regulation, neurodiversity-affirming practice, and individual readiness.
